Bronco Golfers shoot their best round of the season

For the fifth time in the last 9 days, the Coopersville Bronco girls golf team took to the course in a league match.  Currently in a close 3rd with GRCC, the Broncos created some space by finishing 2nd in the match hosted by Coopersville at Western Greens.  The Broncos took advantage of local course knowledge and some stellar play to post a season low and one of the best rounds in Girls Golf history with a 173 .  This was only 6 strokes behind undefeated and league-leading Spring Lake and 6 strokes ahead of 2nd place Northpointe Christian.

Leading the way for the Broncos kendall lining upwas senior Kendall Harris with a season and career best 40.

 

 

She was followed by junior Sadie Brink with a 43, sophomore Sophia Baker with a season best 43, and freshman Alexa Davis who shot her best score at Western Greens with a 47.

The Broncos are in action again tomorrow at the Mines Golf Course
